(RE)Mix
We are excited to announce (RE)Mix, by Assembly Quartet. This exciting new album features the music of contemporary composers Avner Dorman, Alfred Schnittke, and Bill Ryan.
The title (RE)Mix has a dual meaning. First, it pays tribute to Dorman’s 2007 composition Jerusalem Mix, renamed here as Jerusalem (Re)Mix. Second, all three works featured on this album are reimagined form their original instrumentation for SATB Saxophone Quartet + piano, with the Ryan featuring an added drum set.
